Richard was shot and blinded at the age of 10 during the Troubles in Northern Ireland. He is an extraordinary man who writes of a colourful life without sight, including meeting and befriending the soldier that shot him. The autobiography contains a Preface by Nobel Peace Prize Winners, His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama and John Hume. Richard is donating all royalties to the charity Children in Crossfire.
